A formative chapter came during the pandemic: I was one of a small, select group asked to help launch the first sanctioned film crew as a missionary in Chicago for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. With in-person contact restricted, we produced mission-critical video ads and messages that had to be clear, compliant, and effective—fast. That experience sharpened my ability to plan lean shoots, light smart, direct on the fly, and craft edits that communicate even on mute. I still use those muscles every day.For the last three years, I’ve worked as a creative director and video marketer, partnering with sharp advertisers and learning what really moves the needle: tight storytelling, social proof, clean motion titles, and a CTA that’s impossible to miss.
